"Bruce Campbell is an actor, producer, writer, and director, known for roles such as Ash Williams in the Evil Dead franchise, the title role in The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Sam Axe in Burn Notice, Jack Forrest in Maniac Cop and its sequel, Autolycus in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, and Elvis Presley in Bubba Ho-Tep, just to name a few.
He has appeared in the Coen Brothers film The Hudsucker Proxy, the Michael Crichton adaptation Congo, the film version of McHale's Navy, Escape From L.A. (the sequel to John Carpenter's Escape From New York), the Jim Carrey drama The Majestic, and the fantastic 2005 Disney film Sky High.
Campbell had a starring voice role in the hit 2009 animated adaptation of the children's book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and a supporting voice role in Pixar's Cars 2.

Friends with Sam Raimi since their days at Wylie E. Groves High Scool, Bruce has worked famously with him in The Evil Dead franchise projects, but has also appeared in many other Raimi directed projects including Crimewave, Darkman, The Quick and the Dead (ultimately a deleted scene), Spider-Man and Raimi’s two sequels, Oz the Great and Powerful, and is scheduled to be in the upcoming Marvel film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
It was just announced that Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert, and Bruce Campbell – the acclaimed filmmaking team behind the iconic “Evil Dead” franchise – will reunite with horror house New Line Cinema nearly 40 years after the Studio’s landmark release of their seminal shocker for the highly anticipated next chapter in the saga, “Evil Dead Rise,” for HBO Max. Cambell has signed on as executive producer.
